My name is Julio Nunez. I am a well-versed software engineer originally from Venezuela, based in Cleveland, Ohio. My native fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese has always enabled me to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues worldwide. In my previous career, I toured as a professional electronic music producer while also working as a freelance graphic designer and 3D artist.
However, my desire for a more intellectually engaging journey led me to switch gears and pursue software engineering. I began my career with a contract as a Junior Developer at Assured For Life, which provided the tools to land my first paid position with AlliedWorld. My freelance development of 'DoublePlay' led the company Databot to seek me out as their Lead Engineer, and eventually offer me the role of Chief Technology Officer. Over the last six years with Databot, I have honed my skills to the highest professional degree.
I began with a primary focus on front-end development, but over the years have mastered the art of full-stack development. I specialize in a range of JavaScript-related frameworks such as React, Redux, Nest.js, MySQL, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js just to name a prominent few.
I am deeply passionate about crafting top-notch software that enhances user experiences.
